Beatfreeze - the musical collective around drummer Wim de Vries and guitarist Joost Zoeteman bring their first track "We are the Universe" in collaboration with the legendary 'punks with funk' E1 'Rockattack' Ten and Robadope Ro. Complemented with a horn section by trumpeter Philip Lassiter, the listener can count on a musically steaming funk party! The release date is March 17, 2023 for Spotify, Applemusic, among others.

Our trio recorded two songs in the great Li'l Heaven Studios. Lotus Blossom (Kenny Dorham) & the Incrowd, an original by Bart Tarenskeen. They will be on digital platforms in June. Last week I recorded for a project with the amazing Italian singer Stella Tonon and Marcus Schinkel and Wim de Vries @ Maarwegstudio2 Cologne. Here jazz, Italian folksongs, rock and a lot of weird great stuff comes together. I am looking forward to do the results and hope will play a lot of concerts since this is really something else! The studio is just great by the way.
